Malcolm Green makes films about people. Not faceless organisations, not case studies. But films that find the human story inside complex situations. He's shot everywhere, from Cuba to Aberdeen, Ukraine to the UAE, Senegal to Jerusalem, always looking for what makes a story worth telling.
Before this, Malcolm spent decades in Advertising. Both writing and directing for many of the world's largest brands and businesses. He co-founded DLKW, worked on campaigns you'd recognise. He moved on from that world to make work with more meaning. Deeper stories. Different shoots. Smaller crews. Often tighter budgets. But same energy and pace.
Malcolm is always looking for projects with a challenge. Where the story can unfold properly, whether that's a 40-minute documentary or a short brand film that goes deeper than the usual corporate piece, or an even shorter video for social media. He writes as well as directs, so the creative process is always simpler and more collaborative.
Currently, Malcolm is also part of a long-term initiative, developing a film academy and production facility that won't just tell history, but make it.
